Teddy Calls is a daily check-in service that trainers and physios run for their own clients. This page explains what we collect, who handles it, and what we never do with it.

What we collect

Trainers give us their name, email and mobile number to run their account. For each client they add their name, mobile number, timezone, check-in time, exercise routine and any notes the coach should know, such as an injury.

Each check-in produces a call recording and transcript or a text conversation, plus what the client said about pain, mood and which exercises they did. Trainers may also upload exercise videos and filmed sessions.

Text messages

Clients receive texts only after their trainer has confirmed, when adding them, that they agreed to check-in texts at that number. We record the time of that confirmation. Texts are the routine link after a call, a daily reminder for text-only clients, replies to what the client sends, and occasional messages from their trainer.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies, usually one or two texts a day on check-in days. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described on this page and will not be shared with any third party.

Who handles the data

We use a small number of providers, each only for the job named here.

What we never do

We do not sell personal data. We do not use client conversations to advertise. We do not share one trainer's clients with another business.

Your choices

Clients can stop texts at any time by replying STOP, and can ask their trainer to pause or remove them entirely, which deletes their check-in history. Trainers can delete clients and close their account from the dashboard, or ask us through the support thread inside the app.
