Teddy Calls

Terms

Last updated 27 September 2026

These terms cover the Teddy Calls service for trainers, physios and their clients.

The service

Teddy Calls places a daily voice call or sends a daily text to each client a trainer enrols, walks them through the routine their trainer set, and reports back to the trainer. It is a reminder and reporting tool. It is not medical advice, and it does not replace the trainer's or a doctor's judgement.

Text messaging terms

By agreeing with your trainer to receive check-in texts, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Teddy Calls on your trainer's behalf at the mobile number you gave them. Consent is not a condition of working with your trainer: they can run your check-ins by phone call only, or not at all.

Program name: Teddy Calls check-ins. Message frequency varies, usually one or two texts on each check-in day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, and START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or ask your trainer. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our privacy policy is at teddycalls.vercel.app/privacy.

Trainers' responsibilities

Trainers must only enrol clients who have agreed to be contacted, must keep the routine appropriate for each client, and must act on pain reports and alerts themselves. Teddy Calls stops an exercise when a client says it hurts and tells the trainer, and does nothing further.

Accounts and payment

Trainers are responsible for what happens under their account. Pricing, if any, is agreed with each business directly. Either side can end the service at any time.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Teddy Calls is not liable for injury, missed calls, undelivered texts or decisions made from its reports. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
